Leo

I love using vintage charms to make necklaces. You won't find the same one anywhere else. They have been different places with different people. They carry memories, absorb the feelings of the people who have touched them and I can breathe new life into them.

Enjoy Leo. Maybe you would wear him if you needed to be brave?

Silk threads

This week brought a delivery of silk thread, which I have always had in my mind to use in my jewellery.

The delicate colours and strength of the thread is absolutely perfect for making delicate jewellery, which doesn't break the bank as the precious metals do at the moment. I've also been able to use the rubies and sapphires I picked up in India which sets the silk off prefectly.

I'm hoping to see if I can use the silk in some necklace designs next and have thought something quite cute up whilst walking to work this morning.

Tell me what you think.

Featured seller

Another morning cruising the highways and byways of the internet I have come across this lovely shop.

A perfectly pitched shop with an original and very pretty product. Hug a porcepine is brilliant.

New pieces

Guys Guys Guys! Today is my last day before work. Cripes this is bad news for all of us.

Anyway, I have been practicing extensively and after many hours of braving the only laptop in the UK built and rendered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel I have some more pictures for you.

Fuzzy Felt

Ello monkeys... The Christmas season is over and much fun was had by all.
The news from Little Paper Box is that I have been gifted a jewellery photography course for Chrimbo and have been practicing furiously in order to prevent future embarrassment. It is a bit like tidying your house before the cleaner comes but what can you do.

Anyway, whilst scrabbling through old piles of board games I came across these little beauties. I can only assume these complex images were created by me when I was smaller, but there is a chance it wasn't that long ago and I have simply forgotten.
